SSCGB Conformation Specialty
SSCGB’s Annual Conformation Specialty will be returning to the Howard County Fairgrounds on March 2-3, 2024.
Approximately one hour following judging on Saturday, March 2, 2024, Tom Coen will be hosting a seminar/conversation about Shetland Sheepdogs: the breed history, breed type, breeder judgment, and similiarities/differences between Shelties and Collies. Always a great time: the SSCGB holds one of the largest Sheltie AKC agility specialties outside of the ASSA National Specialty. In 2023, we’ve added a third day to make this event even more memorable!

American Shetland Sheepdog Association National Specialty
SSCGB’s parent club, The American Shetland Sheepdog Association (ASSA) will hold its 2023 National Specialty at Purina Farms in Gray Summit, MO. ASSA will be your host for Conformation, Herding, and Performance Events as well variety of activities and special events. For more information, please visit 2023 ASSA National.

Agility Specialty
A popular event hosting on average 70+ shelties from many states along the East Coast, the Shetland Sheepdog Club of Greater Baltimore’s Sheltie agility specialty is the largest Sheltie-only agility trial outside of ASSA nationals. Always fun, always welcoming.
